CaveLight Gets Involved

Citizen Schools is an amazing after-school program that brings real-world skills to middle-school students across the country... and CaveLight Films could not be more pleased to involved.

For the past three years we have taught a documentary film apprenticeship where the students make their very own short documentary.  In this 10-week course the students learn the fundamentals of filmmaking. And it's all hands on. They get right to work as the producers, directors, camera operators and editors. They quickly build their research and interviewing skills and by the end the expert documentary filmmakers.

This semester we are making a documentary film about Citizen Schools. It is our most ambitious endeavor yet.  But we look forward to tackling the challenge and screening the film in front of the entire school and the students families in May!

Stay tuned for more info.
